The Wardrobe

Guys-
Think about having one of your clothing selections match your eye color. This looks great when you use a long sleeve shirt or sweater. Outerwear and leather jackets worn over your outfit add variety to your images. Do not choose garments that are too tight. This is accentuated by the camera. Watches should not be worn. Be sure to dress from head to toe! Wear shoes, dark socks, and belts to coordinate.

Girls-
Think about having one of your clothing selections match your eye color. This looks great when you use a long sleeve shirt or sweater. Outerwear and leather jackets worn over your outfit add variety to your images. Do not choose garments that are too tight. This is accentuated by the camera and adds weight....who wants that?! Jewelry is fun to wear but watches should not be worn. Be sure to dress from head to toe! Wear shoes, dark socks, undergarments, belts and jewelry to coordinate.

Have a Dress Rehearsal the night before... Head to Toe!

Why do we recommend long sleeves?
When you look at a great portrait your eyes should go to the person's face. Bare arms steal emphasis away from your face. If you must wear sleeveless clothing, make it only one of your outfits.

Personal Preferences
Make sure to tell us anything you may have in mind for your session. The more you tell us about yourself, the more we can create images that reflect you!

Parents
Nobody knows your graduate better than you. At StuDio 32011 by Amore' wevalue your input. Many of the photographs will be for you and your family, so we want to be sure to give you what you want. If you are unable to attend the session, we would greatly appreciate your input. What might be ideal for one parent may be deemed unacceptable to another. Please take a moment to write down your preferences and send it with your graduate. Be sure that the clothing your graduate brings is acceptable to you.

Finishing Touches

Hair- Hairstyles are personal. Make sure your hair is exactly how you want it to appear in your photos. It is best to avoid new hairstyles and to have your hair cut/colored approximately 2 weeks prior to your session. We cannot be responsible for a bad hair day. Keep hair out of your face as this will cause shadows.

Make-Up- Wear your make-up as you would normally. If you are accustomed toapplying your own make-up, apply it as for evening. DO NOT use sparkles or glitters anywhere! Be sure to bring powder and lipstick for touch-ups.

Blemishes- All ordered portraits include retouching but you can help by applying a little cover-up to noticeable blemishes.

Nails- Your nails will be in your portraits. Girls have your nails done! Guys be sure your hands look great.

Shave- Guys be sure you have a fresh shave. A five o'clock shadow cannot be retouched.

Brows- Girls it is best to have your eyebrows plucked or waxed about 3-7 days prior to your session.

Clothing- Be sure your clothing is clean and pressed. It is best to bring clothing hanging rather than folded in a bag. Wrinkles do show in portraits. These require intensive retouching and will incur additional fees.

Sun- Avoid too much sun! Tan lines and peeling skin are difficult to fix and will incur additional fees. Over-tanned faces look rounder and heavier.
